For Therapists and Organizations

I offer consultation in individual and group formats. I have been a consultant and trainer in varied settings including nonprofit agencies, government programs, organizations, community programs, universities and boards for fifteen years. I am also a clinical supervisor both for direct clinical staff as well as clinical supervisors. I facilitate “train the trainers” sessions for organizations looking to increase their competencies in different areas.

Some examples of places I have trained, taught or supervised are: University of California, Berkeley, City and County of San Francisco, Our Family Coalition, The Wright Institute, Howard Brown Health Center, Sacramento State University, Alameda County CASA, Hayward Unified School District, Rainbow Community Center, Family Builders By Adoption, A Better Way, Inc., Gender Spectrum, University of California San Francisco, Smith College and  Cal State East Bay  among others.

My aim in consultation/supervision is a collaborative dialogue and a weaving of theory, practice and humility. I work from the understanding that human service and healing work has a role in addressing oppression and injustice.

Some examples are:

*Case Consultation specific to Gender Care

*Case Supervision for hours toward licensure

*Family Systems Case Consultation Group

*Supervision/Consultation for Therapists

wanting to examine their own trauma and issues of Countertransference

*Train the Trainers series designed to support Middle Managers (Clinical Supervisors)
